About My Art Practice

Dingle! County, Kerry Ireland, A little town full of art and a community full of wonderful poeple who are passionate about their place, Irish language and culture.

I believe that art has the power to heal, inspire, transform, and the artist or owner of the art express themselves. I hope to create a space to feel a sense of calm, freedom and appreciation. 

I hope to create art that can make the viewer or reader experience a new way of thinking about art, or simply just to feel inspired and enjoy looking at something beautiful.

My art style is characterized by soft watercolours contrasting shapes and shiny paints. I sometimes branch out in my mixed media acrylic paintings to a more 'rough and tumble' style. 

 I love to experiment with different mediums and techniques to create pieces that are unique and expressive.

So yeah you don't have to take my word for it! 

But know that I have many happy customers who have bought my art, maybe on a whim, once or twice I have seen someone look at my art I saw this romantic glare take over their eyes, only to buy a painting of mine, and walk away. This reaction makes me very happy to see. 

I like to think that my art can create a personal story and a private sense of place, and an inspiration for creativity, as that is what art has been for me, as the artist. 

I am a storyteller and artist at heart. 

I have completed commercial works such as; mural paintings, graphic and digtial designs such as logo or text. 

My main area of work ar my watercolours but I am happy and open to discussions on projects and have been trained in illustration graphic design.
